Membership Confirmation: To maintain the high standards and excellence of our club, we kindly request you to confirm that you are not a member of any other cycling group or club in Udaipur, whether formal or informal (including WhatsApp groups).

Respect and Sportsmanship: Treat fellow cyclists with respect and uphold the principles of sportsmanship. Avoid confrontational or disrespectful behavior both online and during group rides.

Pre-Ride Checklists:

Before each ride, check your bikes for tire pressure, brakes, gears, and overall road worthiness.
Use of lights and reflective gear for low-light conditions.

Group Ride Etiquette:

Adhere to planned routes and communicate changes to the group.
Wait for others at designated regrouping points to maintain group unity.
Refrain from using headphones during rides.

Safety First:

Always wear a helmet conforming to safety standards when riding with the club.
Obey all traffic laws and signals; cyclists are subject to the same rules as motorists.
Utilize hand signals for turns and communicate with other riders regarding road obstacles.
Ride single file and keep to the right side of the road, allowing faster traffic to pass safely.
Regularly inspect and maintain your bike, paying attention to brakes, tire pressure, and overall roadworthiness.

Post Content Guidelines: Share cycling-related content, such as route suggestions, gear recommendations, and personal achievements. Limit non-cycling-related posts and avoid controversial topics to maintain a positive atmosphere. Post only a few pictures from the ride and share the rest with fellow riders through the Telegram group.

Environmental Stewardship: Respect and preserve the natural environment during rides. Dispose of waste responsibly and contribute to the maintenance of cycling routes.

Communication Channels:

Stay informed about upcoming rides and events through our communication channels.
Share any health concerns that may impact your ability to participate.
Report issues or concerns promptly to our club representative.
Use the Telegram group for additional photo sharing, while keeping the main WhatsApp group focused on essential club matters. Direct club-related issues or concerns to group admins rather than addressing them publicly.

Leaderboard/Newsletter:

Monthly Newsletter/Leaderboard will be released by the 10th of each month. Please expect delays in some months.
Inclusion of your rides in the leaderboard starting from the month you join the club.

Sunday Group Ride Plans: Primary two group ride plans (MTB & Highway route) will be shared in the WhatsApp group. Any member can plan a group for Sunday or any other day. Whoever leads the group, please ensure that everyone is wearing all safety gear.

Special Discount: The events organized by UCC offer all members a discount of up to 20% on the participation fee.

Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Measures:

Clearly articulate the expected behavior of club members, both during rides and in interactions with others.
Establish a fair and transparent disciplinary process for addressing violations of the code of conduct.

Accounts: The accounts will be shared at the Annual Meet (not in the Annual Dinner). The individual event account will not be shared upon request.

Event Participation: Participate actively in club-organized events, following event-specific guidelines. Foster a sense of inclusivity and camaraderie during group rides.

Club Functioning: If someone is not happy with the functioning of the club in the previous year, they can choose not to renew the membership.

Group Admins: The club started with a few friends, and they run it with full dignity. They do not hold any positions in the club and run the club as members. No elections will be held for core or any kind of committees. The people managing the club are sparing time from their professional and personal lives for the club, showing their love and respect for the club that started the cycling club to spread happiness and love. Please do not expect too much from them.

Membership Responsibilities:

Ensure timely renew membership for continued access to club benefits.
Keep your contact information up to date for effective communication.
Actively engage in club activities and events, fostering a sense of community.

Disciplinary Actions:

Verbal Warning: Initial, minor infractions may result in a verbal warning.
Written Warning: Continued violations may lead to a written warning, documenting the specific issue.
Temporary Suspension: More serious or repeated violations may result in a temporary suspension from club activities; communicate the duration and conditions for reinstatement.
Membership Termination: Severe or repeated violations may result in the termination of club membership.
